ADULT
EDUCATION/RCIA
Adult Education offers a variety of
programs for the adults of the parish which offer
opportunities for continued spiritual growth and
faith development. The RCIA, (Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults) program guides new members through the catechumenate
into full membership in the church. Re-Membering welcomes back
inactive Catholics and Adult Confirmation Class prepares
participants to receive that Sacrament. Adult Ed also
participates in Baptism classes. All are welcome as
participants in these programs.

YOUTH MINISTRY
Youth Ministry
provides experiences where our youth can help each other to
develop a mature, Christ-centered faith and lifestyle. High
school and middle school students gather week-ends for a time
that includes prayer, catechesis, community building, and
service. In addition there are a variety of recreational
activities scheduled each month, There are also a number of
service projects held throughout the year. We need the active
participation of parish adults who are willing to serve in the
Youth Ministry as advisors, drivers, chaperones, and providers
of food.

SMALL
GROUP

In addition to our regular liturgies, Adult
Education invites men and women to explore prayer
and spirituality with their fellow parishioners.
These groups include the Korean Prayer Group, Cenacle Prayer Group,
Thursday Video & Lunch, Faith Sharing, Bible Study,
Centering Prayer, as well as special programs focusing on
current issues or
interests.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
The Religious Education program supports
parents in passing on their faith to their children with classes for
pre-school through high school. The program also includes
preparation for first reception of the Sacraments of
Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. During the summer,
Vacation Bible School is held for five days for children from
age 3 ½ years old through completion of grade 5. For parents
choosing to school their children at home, we offer resources,
texts, programming and integration into our sacramental
preparation courses. Good Shepherd parish children are also
eligible for enrollment in Holy Spirit
Regional School and the
Catholic High School. All parents and parishioners are invited
to join us in this ministry; serving in the classroom or in
office support.

PRE-SCHOOL
Our Pre-School is a program
with morning classes for three and four year olds. Our mission is
to contribute to the spiritual, mental, social,
emotional and physical development of these
young children through age
appropriate educational activities. As a ministry,
we strive to work with parents to provide an atmosphere of
love and support for each child. Our preschool hopes to be a
part of helping our youngest children to walk in the light of
Christ.

PARISH LIBRARY
